The initial stories about Jared Loughner's right wing connections and motivation for his shooting turn out to be completely backwards. As more facts come out we find his connections to people who incite hate and violence are exclusively on the fringe of the left.
Of course we knew that, right. From Dan Rather's faked Bush's National Guard papers to Chris Matthews leg tingle for Obama the credibility of those in the press and media has been destroyed.
Now we have one more incredible instance. And they wonder why they are considered by ever more Americans to be irrelevant dinosaurs.
